Description of Program
For legal permanent residents: Immigration lawyers and JF&CS accredited representatives by the Board of Immigration Appeals of the Department of Justice-provide Immigration services for anyone with limited financial resources - for example, applications for green cards, visa extensions, petitions for relatives overseas, affidavits of support, affidavits of relationship, status inquiries. Low-cost consultations on immigration questions. Support service referrals, such as ESL classes and employment services. Citizenship classes to help immigrants prepare for the naturalization interview. For refugees: Resettlement services for individuals who have been granted asylum. Cross-cultural and job search skills workshops designed for people from other countries.

Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh, the Jewish Healthcare Foundation and United Way of Allegheny County; and also receive funding from the government, foundations and generous individual and corporate contributors.
